Boise State was able to sign 3-star defensive tackle Jabari Watson from Rancho Cucamonga High (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). Watson originally signed with Arizona but de-committed on December 3rd. Ultimately, though Watson decided to sign with Boise State.

Aside from Arizona, Watson was also considering Mountain West team: Fresno State, Nevada, New Mexico, San Diego State and Utah State.

Watson is a strong side defensive tackle, who had 22 tackles and 3 sacks in his junior season. Watson should step in and help solidify the Bronco’s defense as one of the conference’s perennial best, though they are losing many defensive tackles to graduation.

Notably Armand Nance. While his highlight video shows that he is a quick defender who is versatile at both pass rushing and stopping the run. One of his most glaring strengths is the fact that he can break through an offensive line very quickly. You can see more in this video.
