New Mexico Football Recruiting: Junior College Lineman Avery Jordan Commits to the Lobos

The Lobos land the younger brother of Los Angeles Clipper DeAndre Jordan.

Quick Bio

The New Mexico Lobos need help on the offensive line and Avery Jordan is one of the five offensive lineman signed by the Lobos. Jordan who was a two-sport athlete at Pearland High School playing both basketball and football.

He choose to pursue  his football career at Blinn Community College were he was a two year letterman.The 6'4 285-pound tackle is the younger brother of Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, so there is elite talent running in the family and this could be a steal for the Lobos.

His size is a small bit concerning as he is an offensive lineman, however the way the New Mexico offense utilizes the run game which includes zone reads, option, pistol and other running plays that require offensive lineman to me more athletic and not the overpowering lineman over 300 pounds.
