2016 New Mexico Football Recruiting: RB Daevon Vigilant commits to Lobos

3 star running back Daevon Vigilant commits to the Lobos.

UNM Athletics

Daevon Vigilant is the big name in this year's recruiting class for the Lobos; he was recruited by several bigger schools like Michigan and Utah as an Athlete but the three-star running back decided to choose the Lobos because he would have the opportunity to play running back.

Vigilant rushed for over 3,000 yards and 25 touchdowns in his Junior and Senior seasons at Downey High School in California and he is an explosive athlete that can be a big play threat which the Lobos will need with the graduation Jhurell Pressley and Carlos Wiggins.

With the offense that the Lobos run this is a great back to fit in and be a complimentary back and then build up to potentially be the main back There are plenty of carries to go around  in this run-based attack.
