The San Diego State Aztecs add 3-star running back Parie Dedeaux of Dorsey High (Los Angeles, CA). Dedeaux had been recruited heavily from other Mountain West programs, but ultimately chose SDSU in the middle of senior season.

Dedeaux is listed at 6’1", 180lbs. at running back, but is versatile to play on defense and special teams. In his senior year he had 45 carries, 219 yards, and 2 touchdowns. Dedeaux is one of the few targeted running backs in the 2016 class, and despite the stats he has plenty of upside with his versatility.
The signing adds to a running back corps that will see some rotation time behind senior Donnel Pumphrey, and junior Rashaad Penny. Dedeaux could also see some time in the defensive backfield if coach Rocky Long thinks he plays better to help bridge the loss of senior J.J. Whittaker.
