Darius Powe is a two-way high school player that does not have a definite position for the Wolf Pack. Most recruiting sites have him listed as a wide receiver, however Powe told Scout.com that Nevada wants him to play on defense.
Regardless of where he plays, Powe is a very physical player. On offense, he's able to play outside the numbers and go up and get a jump ball or fade route. On defense, Powe could be a very athletic linebacker, having good speed and hitting ability.
Powe is a 3-star recruit according to 247Sports.com and Scout.com, and a 2-star recruit according to Rivals.com. He had an offer from San Jose State, as well as interest from Pac-12 schools Arizona, Cal, Colorado, and Washington.
