Receiving his lone offer on June 16th, B.J. Brown decided to head to San Jose State officially a couple of weeks later. The Spartans program just felt like the perfect fit for the receiver from Sacramento, California.
Per Scout:
"I was just thinking it over with my family," Blackwell said. "Then today I made the choice. We talked it over and my mom and dad were like ‘do you think it's a good school for you?' We looked into it, the academics, the sports, to be a student-athlete. Then they said, ‘if that's the school you want to go to, then you could go.'
"I felt like San Jose State was a great fit for me."
