2016 San Jose State football recruiting: WR Marquise Green commits to the Spartans

Quick Bio

Like classmate Cameron Smith, Marquise Green could play either wide receiver or corner back. Green's only offer was from San Jose State, and it didn't take long for him to pledge his services to Caragher.

Per Scout:

"I actually talked to coach Caragher and I actually did commit, but I announced it (today)," Green said. "I think I called him Saturday or Sunday and I told him I wanted to be a Spartan. He sounded pretty excited.

Green is actually a fellow high school teammate and 2016 classmate to Leni Toailoa. Green actually did a bit of recruiting himself, admitting that he had been talking to fellow classmate's Blackwell and Cameron Smith.
