The Nevada Wolf Pack defeated the Fresno State Bulldogs 77-72 in a gutsy, hard fought performance on Saturday night. The unquestionable star of the game was Nevada's freshman sensation Cameron Oliver who scored 20 points and grabbed a career high 24 rebounds in the win tonight.

It was a back and fourth contest throughout the game with both teams taking turns with the lead. Nevada did lead by a score of 61-57 with 1:45 left in regulation but Fresno State went on a 6-2 scoring run that was capped off with a Marvelle Harris three to tie the game at 63-63. When DJ Fenner turned the ball over with 19 seconds left in the game, the Bulldogs had a chance to win the game but Jahmel Taylor's three-point attempt was no good.

In the overtime period, the Bulldogs went on a 7-2 scoring run but the Wolf Pack responded with a 9-2 scoring run in which seven of the Wolf Pack's nine points came from the free throw line. Eric Cooper was responsible with making the last three free throws to seal the win for Nevada. For the Wolf Pack, DJ Fenner tied a career high in points by chipping in with 24 points while Tyron Criswell scored 13 points. Marvelle Harris was Fresno State's leading scorer with 25 points while Cezar Guerrero scored 12 points and had eight assists. Cullen Russo also chipped in with 11 points for the Bulldogs.

The Wolf Pack will return to action on Wednesday night as they travel to play the San Jose State Spartans in The Events Center at 7pm.
