Well, that was quite a Saturday, wasn’t it?
Perhaps it’s in the spirit of a wild weekend of Mountain West action that Jeremy is out of commission and it falls to me to lead the charge in recapping the whole day. Boise State and San Diego State coasted to easy wins, which are briefly touched upon, but Wyoming and UNLV lit up the scoreboard in a record-breaking offensive display at Sam Boyd Stadium, and the refs created a whole lot of controversy elsewhere in the Mountain division.
In particular, was the offensive pass interference call which gave New Mexico a win at Utah State the right call? And did a targeting no-call swing the fortunes of both Colorado State and Air Force? You’ll have to tune in to find out.
