Fresno State forward Karachi Edo will hope to build off his impactful season which helped guide the Bulldogs to its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2001.
After domestic violence charges were dropped in June, Edo is expected to be fully ready for the upcoming season and should start on opening night.
Edo will be a centerpiece for Fresno on both sides of the floor this season. The 6-6, 230-pounder recorded the 55th best block percentage in the nation (7.7%) while finishing second on the team in field goal percentage at 55.6%. Edo is also extremely active on the offensive glass, grabbing a 13.6% offensive rebound percentage - best in the league last season.
A highly effective season from Edo will significantly boost Fresno’s chances of returning to the Big Dance. Now a senior, Edo must display leadership on and off the court for Rodney Terry and the Bulldogs.
