The NBA kicks off tonight and there are technically 16 former players on NBA rosters.

The NBA is back and the Mountain West is well represented with players in the pros who represent a Mountain West team. There are 15 players listed below of current Mountain West schools with a member in the NBA, but former Utah center Andrew Bogut is still kicking around so lets to ahead and count him to make it to 16.

UNLV has always been a place for talent and it is no surprise that they have six players in the league, but with that being a positive one has to wonder why was there not a ton of on the court success.

Nevada comes in next with three players and yes some were in the WAC days as was Fresno State’s Paul George, but it is not a huge deal if we fudge the numbers a bit.
