Jeremy and Matt are back to recap a long week of Mountain West football which began play with a wild Thursday night game between Boise State and BYU; then a snoozer on Friday night. We go through the games as usual and are surprised by Hawaii that keeps on winning and a Wyoming team that is 3-0 in Mountain West play for the first time ever and is one win away from becoming bowl eligible.
Fresno State fell to Utah State and that was enough for the Bulldogs athletics director Jim Bartko to relive Tim DeRuyter of his duties, so we chat about the firing and what it means going forward with their interim coach. Also, a familiar face in the California area is already reported to have the Fresno State job.
