There were seven games this week with five of those being conference contests and we learned quite a bit from these games. We start with the game in chronological orders as always and that begins with Air Force showing up with a big performance in topping rival Navy with a good defensive effort and a great passing attack.
San Diego State stumbles against South Alabama and no it is not just because of a poor snap on a punt that led to an easy touchdown. The Jaguars were able to move the ball at ease on offense and the Aztecs passing game took a step back. The game was much closer than the final score of 42-28 would let on, but the lose is a damning blow to the Aztecs hoping to earn that coveted New Year’s Six bowl game.
Conference games had some interesting outcomes with Hawaii blowing out Nevada behind new quarterback Dru Brown, UNLV also finding a quarterback in Dalton Snead and Wyoming takes home the Bronze Boot.
