Hawaii hosts UNLV and the Rebels are doing all they can do help the Warriors remain at the top of the division by opting to insert Kurt Palandech at quarterback with Dalton Sneed. The Rebels have issues with wide receiver depth so mixing in quarterbacks with new and young wide outs make it more difficult to have create a relationship in the pass and catch game.

New Mexico opted to be the opponent for Air Force in the Cotton Bowl and it was due to recruiting reasons since the Lobos have over two dozen recruits from Texas and a handful in the Dallas-area.

The action gets going Friday night with San Diego State traveling up North to the I-5 for one of the weaker trophy games which is the Battle for the Oil can.

The other game has Boise State taking on Colorado State in which the Broncos are projected to win by over four touchdowns.
