Final college football rankings: San Diego State is nowhere to be found

College football is over -- Roll Tide! -- and the final AP and coaches polls are out, yet there is no sign of the San Diego State Aztecs being ranked. They are receiving votes, but not ranked which is a sham. The Aztecs have won 10 consecutive games, a Mountain West title and easily won their bowl game. That winning streak is second to only national title Alabama.

what gives?

Western Kentucky is ranked 24th in the AP poll and finished with a very good 12-2 record, but my beef is with the name brand Florida Gators still being ranked. They lost their final three games, including a 41-7 loss to Michigan in their bowl game. Keeping the Gators ranked is a joke and shows the laziness of the voters.
