This is the most anticipated home game for Boise State and forgive the hyperbole but possibly ever with former head coach Chris Petersen coming to town with the Washington Huskies. The Broncos are a double-digit favorite and return nearly every starter on offense and defense.
Ryan Finley replacing Grant Hedrick and Jeremy McNichols replacing Jay Ajayi is no easy task but the offensive line is back as are multiple receivers. There should be plenty of ways to help Finley in his first carer start.
Washington is starting a new quarterback and lost multiple players and could struggle to make a bowl game this year with the talent they have returning in Seattle.
One area of interest in this game has nothing to do with play on the field but it will be what type of reception Petersen gets when Washington takes to the field.
