The Nevada football team received a commitment on Monday from  Daniel Brown. Brown is a 6-0 180 pound cornerback from Narbonne HIgh School in Harbor City, California. Brown, who is a teammate of another Wolf Pack commit Lawson Hall, received offers from Hawaii and UNLV before deciding to commit to Nevada.

Brown is the 18th ranked cornerback prospect in the West according to Scout.com. As a junior, Brown had 36 tackles, an impressive 21 pass breakups and three interceptions in which one of those he returned for a touchdown. Brown's commitment to Nevada signifies the continuation of the Wolf Pack stocking up on defensive players for their 2016 class.

Along with Brown and fellow defensive back commitments Daquirae Irby and Kevin Howell, the Wolf Pack have the makings of a talented group of freshman cornerbacks in their 2016 class.
