San Jose State recruiting: Spartans add WR B.J. Brown

Another big receiver pledges his commitment to the Spartans.

It has been a good week for Ron Caragher and the San Jose State Spartans as they have received another commitment from a receiver out of Sacramento.

B.J. Brown has decided to end his recruitment by announcing his decision to be a Spartan. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound, Grant Union product holds his only scholarship offer from San Jose State. He is currently unranked, per the 247Sports recruiting services. He joins fellow wide receivers Jaquan Blackwell, Cameron Smith, and Mekhi Stevenson in the class of 2016. So far, every wide receiver in this class is at least 6-feet tall, so there are a lot of big targets coming in for the future of San Jose football.

This announcement is coming off the heels of the news from last week, where head coach Ron Caragher received four commitments on the same day. So far, the Spartan class of 2016 holds seven commitments and is currently ranked third in  the Mountain West Conference, behind Boise State and Colorado State.
