Wolf Pack announces point guard Anderson has joined the basketball program

Anderson will join the Wolf Pack basketball program as a walk on and will in classes this summer.

Wolf Pack basketball head coach, Eric Musselman announced on Thursday that Juwan Anderson has officially joined the Wolf Pack basketball team for the 2015-2016 season. Anderson will enroll in summer classes at Nevada and will walk on to the Wolf Pack team this year.

Anderson is a 6-0 165 lbs point guard from Oakland, California who played at Bishop O'Dowd High School and last year, he spent a post graduate year playing at Suffield Academy in Connecticut. While he was at Suffield, Anderson averaged 15.4 points, 5.2 assists, 2.8 steals and 2.3 rebounds per game. When Anderson was at Bishop O'Dowd, he helped the team to a second place finish in the CIF Championship title game where he scored 11 points for the Dragons in a losing effort.

Coach Musselman said of Anderson that "we are excited to have Juwan as a member of our 2015-2016 Nevada Wolf Pack team". Musselman also said of Anderson that "not only is he a good basketball player, but he is an even better person"

Here are some of Anderson's highlights while at Suffield Academy.

Anderson had fielded offers from Pacific, Florida A&M, Cal State Bakersfield, Fairfield and Northern Arizona before deciding to walk on at Nevada.
