New Mexico football is our team preview this week with Jeremy and Chris. Is this the year that the Lobos get over the hump and make it to a bowl game under Bob Davie? Also, the offense is looking to be more scarier than last year with the addition of the hurry up, no huddle attack to go along with their run attack. More passing should be done as well in 2015.
Defense is the key area where New Mexico needs to improve to become bowl eligible and they do return a good amount of experience, but they could be without a completely healthy Dakota Cox to start the season. Cox tore his ACL late last year and is not fully ready, and he was the best player on the defense. If the defense can be even average then they have a chance to make some serious noise in the Mountain West.
And for good measure, to make it 100 percent clear: yes, we are biased against your team.
