The Boise State Broncos picked up a running back for their 2016 class when Prosper, Texas', Robert Mahone committed to Boise State via Twitter on Saturday night.

Mahone stands at 6-feet tall and right at 200 pounds, and in his junior year rushed for 514 yards and four touchdowns while adding 104 receiving yards. He also had eight kickoff returns for an average of 28.9 yards par attempt and a touchdown.
He held offers from various non-power five schools such as Colorado State, SMU, Houston, Arkansas State and plenty of FCS schools as well. He ultimately came down to SMU and Boise State.
This is the first running back hat Boise State added to the 2016 class and it likely will not be the last as they probably will be looking for a second running back to add depth in the coming years.
Boise State tends to find under the radar prospects and Mahone looks like one of those athletes. He is shifty, can cut on a moments notice to evade tacklers and is great in the open field.
Here are his highlights.
