Before anyone complains, I will fully disclose: this is not a huge sports news piece. It really doesn't matter to anyone not involved in the situation; if you hate seeing tons of coverage of the Aggies, ignore this article. But it was impressive enough nonetheless that it deserves being shared, for the sake of those who still appreciate class acts.

The summer is in full swing, the heat is starting to hit, and you're a Utah State football player. So, what do you do with your free time when you're not lifting, etc.? Well apparently, for many of the athletes that are staying in Logan for the summer, you do community service.
I was helping a friend of mine on his farm the past couple of days as he moved hay bales from the field to his barn; despite help from family and friends there was tons to do, and it didn't look like we'd get finished any time soon. Then, out of the blue, a dozen Aggies pulled up, tossed on some gloves (or not, if they were feeling especially tough...), and got to work. And the second day another group showed up and did the same thing. It's amazing how much quicker the job goes when you have offensive and defensive linemen, tight ends, and linebackers pitching in.
It wasn't something they got paid for. Most of them didn't even know the farmer. But they decided to do some good with the time they had, and I know everyone involved was grateful for the help. They don't need their names on the front page, but these guys should be applauded for being good guys, and class acts. Well done on representing yourselves, your school, and your families with such honor.
