The Utah State Aggies have landed another commit for the 2015-16 season in 6'7" small forward Alexis Dargenton. Alexis is originally from Fort-de-France, Martinique (small island north of Venezuela). He averaged 12.4 points and 7.7 rebounds while shooting over 47 percent last season at Laramie County Community College.
Dargenton is a long athletic forward whose game will continue to develop as he plays against better competition more frequently. Dargenton seems to move well without the ball and has excellent court vision. He handles the ball well for the amount of experience he has against high quality opponents. Dargenton will need to continue to develop his range to be able to contribute this year but that will come over time.
He will add great depth behind the still young Aggie forwards but with three years of eligibility left Dargenton will be in a tremendous position to succeed in years to come. Besides Utah State, Dargenton had offers Kansas State, Penn State and Tulsa, among others.
