Hawaii, Wisconsin to air on Big Ten Network in primetime

The first of hopefully many TV games for Hawaii football has been announced.

The Hawaii Warriors football schedule is complete for the 2015 season and now what is left to sort out is when their games will be on television. The latest announcement has the Warriors playing at the home of the Wisconsin Badgers on the Big Ten Network, and streaming on BTN2Go, on Saturday Sept. 26.

The actual game time has not been announced but prime time likely means the kick off will be an 8 p.m. ET kick for this game. It is no ESPN or ABC game but the distribution of the Big Ten Network will allow for plenty of Hawaii fans on the mainland to watch these games.

This is the first Hawaii football game to be announced for TV, there will be a handful of home Warriors games on Time Warner Oceanic.

Hawaii also faces another Big Ten opponent in Ohio State on Sept. 12 and that could be another Big Ten Network game, or possibly even on a more prestigious platform since the Buckeyes are likely to be in the top five to start the 2015 season.
