Another delightful surprise for San Diego State football fans today as four-star wide receiver DeSean Holmes officially committed to play at SDSU today at 2:03 p.m.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound receiver from Mission Hills received four stars from ESPN.com, Rivals.com and Scout.com, and 247sports.com gives him three stars. He's ESPN's 34th-best wide receiver in the 2015 class, and he's 26th-best according to Rivals.com.
Holmes, who played his high school ball at Bishop Alemany High School, also held offers from Fresno State, Arizona State, Cal, Hawaii, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon State, UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington and Washington State.
Holmes originally committed to USC in July, but he decommitted in early December.
ESPN.com reports the newest Aztec runs a 4.58 40-yard dash.
