Name: Raymond Sheard
Height: 6-foot-1
Weight: 180 pounds
School: Arlington (Arlington, TX)
Held offers from: Texas State
Sheard is an impressive, all-around tailback out of Texas. He isn't great in any particular area, but there aren't many weaknesses to find, either. Sheard runs like the sidelines are lava, forcing the defense to drag him down to the turf on every single carry. This style of running probably isn't ideal for his longterm prospects, but for now it makes him a tough, bulldozer of an addition to the Boise State backfield. He can also get by as a shifty, quick-moving tailback at the next level. Little, last-second movements help him avoid big hits.
247sports and Scout rank Sheard as a three-star prospect, while Rivals lists him as a two-star. During his senior season, Sheard ran for 1,502 yards and 17 touchdowns.
