Butler is a terrific playmaking recruit out of Texas. He lacks elite speed or size, but he’s tremendously fluid in all of his movements and is capable of running some filthy routes. Capable of making highlight-reel catches, but will need to develop his hands some before making a consistent impact for the Broncos.
He’s a consensus three-star recruit amongst the four major databases (Rivals, Scout, ESPN, 247sports). 247sports ranks him as the 101st-best recruit in Texas and the 95th-best WR prospect, while Scout has him as the 127th-best receiver.
