Name: Riley Brand
Height: 6-foot-2
Weight: 210 pounds
School: Lutheran (Orange, CA)
Brand committed to Nevada way back on August 5th and, for one reason or another, hasn’t picked up any other offers since. Standing at 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, Brand has the tools to potentially step in immediately for the Wolf Pack as an outside linebacker.
He’s a fundamentally-sound tackler who reads plays well and fights blockers off with ease. He’ll never be the most athletic guy on the field, but he always seems to find a way to get himself in position to make a play on the ball.
Brand drew a three-star ranking from Scout and ESPN, while Rivals and 247sports has him as a two-star recruit. Scout ranks him as the 16th-best OLB recruit in California and the 126th-best in the country.
