Nevada football recruiting: ATH Dameon Baber signs with Wolf Pack

Dameon Baber, a RB/DB out of Palmdale, has signed his national letter of intent to play for the Nevada Wolf Pack.

School: Palmdale HS (Palmdale, CA)

Held offers from: Arizona, Oregon St, Wyoming

Baber committed to Oregon State and Wyoming before settling on Nevada a couple days ago. Rivals ranks Baber as the 30th-best ATH in the country and the 77th-best recruit in California in the 2015 class. 

He doesn’t have much size, but possesses strong playmaking abilities on both sides of the ball. Has decent vision and plus elusiveness on offense, where he could line up at running back for the Wolfpack. He’s more likely to end up in the secondary, however, where his skills will translate better. On defense, he plays aggressive and fearless, flying to the ballcarrier like a heat-seeking missile. 

Baber is a unanimous three-star amongst the major recruiting databases (Rivals, 247sports, ESPN, Scout) and is likely the most highly-rated recruit in Nevada’s class.
