San Jose State football recruiting: Spartans land verbal from four-star WR Kanya Bell

Four-star wide receiver Kanya Bell is expected to sign with San Jose State.

The San Jose Spartans are having a 2015 recruiting class that should be near the top of the Mountain West when it is all said and done. Tuesday night, the Spartans landed a huge verbal commit from four-star wide receiver Kanya Bell.

The Long Beach Poly wide out chose San Jose State over USC, and also he had offers from Washington State, UCLA, Nebraska, Boise State, Oregon State and others.

This is a monster get for head coach Ron Caragher who needs a much needed victory after a subpar 2014 season which saw the Spartans go 3-9.

A key reason that Bell elected to go to San Jose State over those other schools: jerseys.

"They have a good environment. I like the school and the campus is pretty cool," Bell told 247Sports. They have good facilities and jerseys."

For all of those people who dislike all of the alternate jersey's that at times do not even have the school colors, well this just proves that different jersey styles really do bring in recruits.

This is not official, but Bell is expected to sign his National Letter of Intent on Wednesday morning.
