PHOTOS: 1990 UNLV stars get matching tattoos to honor Jerry Tarkanian

Former players of  UNLV's 1990 national title team have put together a one of a kind tribute to former head coach Jerry Tarkanina. Larry Johnson, Anderson Hunt, Stacey Augmon, Chris Jeter and Mo Scurry all got matching tattoos to honor the late coach.

Each of these players were on the national title team that beat Duke, 101-71, for the 1990 national title. The UNLV teams under Tarkanian in the late 1980s and 1990s were a special bunch of teams which brought a swagger and enthusiasm to college basketball.

These are no small tattoos that these players are not some small tribute, it is a lot of ink.

One thing missing is having current Rebels head coach Dave Rice take part in these festivities, he was on that national title team.
