There is plenty of reaction to former UNLV and Fresno State head coach Jerry Tarkanian passing away on Wednesday, and we will take a look at a lot of those. Of course there will be some interesting stories about Tark the Shark.
First let's start with an interesting story about how Tarkanian stuck it to the man when being honored at Fresno State, and did this at halftime.
"I just want to thank everybody for the support I received in my time coaching here at UNL ... "
Go read that whole story, it is worth the read.
Now, onto other reactions across the web from social media.
Coach Tark, my father, the greatest man I have ever known, passed today, to take his place in heaven. I will miss him every day of my life.

On such a sad day at #UNLV, it's comforting to know that Coach #Tark was able to go in the Hall of Fame and then see his statue unveiled.

Apparently, there is a remake of "Walk Like an Egyptian" to "Walk Like a Tarkanian"
