The Arizona Bowl is an odd matchup between a pair of Mountain West teams which includes the Colorado State Rams and Nevada Wolf Pack. The Nevada players are not too happy about playing the Rams for their bowl game.
Assuming both teams want to show up and play to their abilities, this could be a very exciting game. Nevada has been up and down all year and one could realistically flip a coin to determine how this team will play. Colorado State tends to play to their competition, so this could make for a compelling matchup.
The running game for Nevada is how they will win this game and that means it is up to Don Jackson having a big game on the ground. With the pistol, look for quarterback Tyler Stewart to run on the ground some but he will need to take to the air and throw closer to 200 yards if Nevada wants to win.
Colorado State has the better combination of wide receiver and quarterback with Nick Stevens and Rashard Higgins, and that could be the tipping point for the Rams to win this matchup. Higgins' year has not been as dominant as last year, and this very well could be the last collegiate game for the junior. Higgins may want to live up to his Hollywood nickname and end his career with a big game.
This game is on the American Sports Network which will reach 88 million homes, but you need to look for the channel. Campus Insiders is streaming the game and for those worried about their capabilities they partnered with MLBAM which should make this stream very stable.
