Boise State's Leon Rice pursues Aussie swingman for 2016

Jack White, a small forward from Australia, has interest in Boise State for 2016. He will make an official visit with Leon Rice in the coming weeks.

Boise State head coach Leon Rice is no stranger to Australian talent. There are currently two Aussies on the 2015 Broncos roster (Anthony Drmic and Nick Duncan) and it is possible that Rice may add another talented recruit to the team for the 2016 season.

Jack White (not to be confused with the White Stripes lead singer) is the fifth ranked Australian recruit for the class of 2016. White is 6-6, 200 pounds and has also received offers from Mercer, Loyola Marymount, and Albany, as well as Boise State.

The swingman is very athletic and would fit Rice's system perfectly. He has a similar skillset to Anthony Drmic, a slashing and three point shooting off-ball guard with good size and length. White is also a tenacious rebounder and is not afraid to the dirty work, something that coach Rice has praised from guys like Chandler Hutchison this year and Rob Heyer from last year's team.

The 18-year old represented Australia in the U-19 World Championships in Greece.

White is leaving for the states today and will be making official visits with Boise State, Temple, and Hawaii.
