Mountain West football: Week 12 open thread

Last night, the Boise State Broncos were shocked on the blue turf for the second week in a row, this time by the Air Force Falcons. The boys from the Academy hold the catbird seat at the moment, and they'll be very interested in how today's action shake out.

The Fresno State Bulldogs kick off the afternoon by traveling to Provo, looking to maintain their momentum against BYU. Shortly thereafter, the Nevada Wolf Pack take on Utah State, in need of a win to maintain their slim hopes of earning the West division title.

Later this afternoon, Colorado State and New Mexico clash in Albuquerque, where FOOTBALL BAWB'S surprising Lobos need another win to set up a de facto division title game next weekend.

The nightcap features two helpings of West division action: San Diego State can clinch a spot in the conference championship with a win on the road against the pesky Rebels, while San Jose State can breath some life into their bowl hopes with a win in Hawaii.
