There is a new top team in our Mountain West power poll and it is San Diego State who moved back up after their win this past weekend, and they probably should have stayed there but were dropped during their off week in favor of Boise State.
The Aztecs were not however a unanimous choice as Air Force -- who has been playing well of late -- earned the other first-place vote and is second overall.
New Mexico's upset win vaulted them to historic heights at the third spot and ahead of Boise State who now sits at the fourth spot. Nevada made a big jump after topping San Jose State in overtime this past week moving up three spots to fifth.
The Lobos will like to solidify their third spot as they take on Colorado State this weekend and even though the Lobos are at home, they are for some reason a two-point underdog but a win there will keep them in the hunt for the Mountain Division title and keep them in the top three of the next power poll.
The bottom half is the same as last week.
