The games got underway on Friday night between Utah State and Wyoming which saw the Aggies win easily but there is some concern over the rush defense which allow Brian Hill to rush for over 200 yards.
San Diego State showed its playing the best in the conference with a big defensive effort in a blowout win over Colorado State. UNLV hung close for three quarters but could not play a complete game against Boise State
