Nevada has a commitment from three-star linebacker Lawson Hall and we catch up with him as his senior season is winding down.
Robert J Pfeifer: How are you feeling about your Nevada commitment right now?
Lawson Hall: "I am very solid on my Nevada Commitment."
RJP: What are your goals for your team while attending Nevada?
LH: "My goals for my team consist of winning a MW Championship and playing in a big bowl game."
RJP: What are your individual goals while in college?
LH: "My individual goals would be playing as a freshman and being the heart of the defense."
RJP: Who would you say is Nevada's biggest rival on the football field? UNLV? Fresno? Boise? SDSU?
LH: "Nevada's biggest rival is UNLV because they battle for that Fremont Cannon every year."
RJP: Is that the team you'd like to beat the most?
LH: "Yes, I would love to help Nevada win that cannon every year."
RJP: What other schools offered you?
LH: "Colorado State and Fresno State."
RJP: When do you expect to arrive on campus?
LH: "I will arrive on campus shortly after I graduate for their freshman program."
RJP: Are Nevada's coaches focused on going to a New Year's Six bowl? Is that the team's goal?
LH: "I think the goal is to win all the games they play in. A NY6 game is an awesome hope and accomplishment."
RJP: What Nevada player do you try to model you game after?
LH: "I try to model my game after Bryan Lane Jr. because he has a big impact on that defense and I will be playing the position he is."
RJP: What NFL player do you try to model you game after?
LH: "I try to model my game after Bobby Wagner because he's instinctive, violent, and has a nose for the ball."
RJP: Is there anything you'd like to say to the Nevada fans?
LH: "I want the fans to know that a Mountain West championship is soon to come!"
