Week 6 Mountain West football power rankings

Have a look at the latest Mountain West power rankings.

Lance Iversen-USA TODAY Sports

Better late then never to find out who is at the top of the Mountain West power rankings just an hour or so before next weeks games. The top three spots remain the same with Boise State, Utah State and Air Force staying there, but there was some movement with San Diego State and San Jose State flip-flopping spots. Each team won but San Diego State won by more points to move up a spot.

Colorado State continued its slide after getting throttled by Boise State last week to the seventh spot followed by Nevada and then UNLV. Nevada made the biggest jump going from the ninth spot to the sixth after a 35-17 win over New Mexico.

The bottom three of Hawaii, Fresno State and Wyoming all remained the same.

1. Boise State (15) LW: 1 Mountain
2. Utah State LW: 2 Mountain
