College Football Rankings, Week 7: Boise State is the highest rated Group of Five

Boise State's march to another New Year's Day bowl game is on the right path as they are the highest rated of the non-power conferences.

Boise State is once again ranked in the coaches and AP polls, they come in at 20 and 21 after their 41-10 win over Colorado State. The Broncos are the highest rated school from the Group of Five with Houston and Toledo ranked in the AP poll, and then in the coaches poll swap out Houston with Memphis.

Strength of schedule will favor Temple, Houston and Memphis as the American has more undefeated teams and is doing better than the Mountain West this year. It will be a slow climb for these schools but these polls are really meaningless since they have nothing to do with the College Football Playoff and big time bowl games, so take Boise State's highest ranking with some caution.
