Four players scored in double digits for the Air Force Falcons as they played their best offensive game of the season to capture a 78-56 victory over the San Jose State Spartans to capture their first Mountain West Conference victory of the season. The Falcons, who already lead the conference in assist, had 23 on the evening as the ball was moving and shots were being made in Colorado Springs on Wednesday evening.

The Falcons were paced on the evening by senior forward Marek Olesinski with 16 points on the evening. Olesenski was joined in double digits by Max Yon (13 points), Zach Kocur (12 points, 5 assist) and Hayden Graham (14 points), who is replacing senior forward Kamryn Williams in the starting line-up. Williams has been lost for the season with an Achilles tendon rupture. The Falcons were hot from behind the three-point line going 47% (8 of 17) for the evening. The Falcons have struggled with their deep shooting as of recently and tonight's effort is a good sign moving deeper into conference play.

Rashad Muhammad of San Jose State was the star of the night offensively as he was the leading scorer for all teams with 26 points, including making six three-pointers on the night. San Jose State struggled on the boards, only grabbing 22 rebounds total and being a -10 in rebounding margin. The Spartans also committed 14 turnovers and could not find a consistent answer to go along with Muhammad on the night.

Air Force will look for the home week sweep when they host in-state rival Colorado State Saturday afternoon in Colorado Springs. San Jose State will continue their road trip when they face UNLV in Las Vegas.
