The Mountain West basketball season is just a few games into league play and there is already plenty of intrigue. Utah State topped Boise State on the road on a last-second three-pointer, Wyoming is 2-0 and Fresno State upset San Diego State.

Jeremy and Matt B are here to attempt to make sense as conference play gets underway. The one thing that an be agreed upon is that home court is huge in the Mountain West, and any and all road wins are valuable for seeding in the Mountain West tournament.

As for an early look at NCAA tournament teams, there could be as few as one or as many as four. However, there are six teams that could be in the mix for a NCAA tournament berth.
