What to watch for: What UNLV will show up
The Aztecs are favored in this game and are coming off arguably their best win of the year -- a convincing 60-52 victory in Laramie, Wyoming. So it's safe to assume SDSU will come out to play. But will UNLV? At points this year, the Rebels have looked quite awful, losing 89-60 to Stanford and 64-62 to the Nevada Wolf Pack. But at other times, the Rebels have looked like a top dog in the Mountain West, upsetting then-No. 3 Arizona 71-67 in early January. Dave Rice has a roster loaded with talent. But UNLV still has to answer the question it seemingly faces each year: Can Rice and the coaches turn that talent into consistent success?
