Jeremy and Matt B. are back to discuss the latest in Mountain West basketball action. Before we get to any of the games there is a lot of news to discuss. The duo go over Stew Morrill stepping down as Utah State's head coach, player suspensions resulting from the fight between Colorado State and Air Force and also suspensions to the second- and third-leading scorers for San Jose State.
On to the games. We go through a select amount of games to preview and recap, and discover that the Mountain West is a complete mess with no dominant teams. There likely will be a clutter of teams with multiple loses come March.
One player that is surprising most anyone in the Mountain West is Fresno State's Marvelle Harris who is averaging 18.5 points per game, but has a 40-point game against Nevada and five others of 20 or more. The Bulldogs could be a pesky team throughout conference play.
The two big games to watch this week are San Diego State and Wyoming on Wednesday and then UNLV at San Diego State on Saturday afternoon. A third wild card game could be UNLV at Boise State on Tuesday night.
Also, to make everything 100 percent clear, we are biased against your team.
