In Week 4 of Mountain West play there are nine games on the schedule, but conference play is still taking a back seat for another week. With this being Monday it is a good time to look at the initial odds of these nine games.
No need to wast time, here we go with the games, and all times are Eastern.
The positive about this Colorado vs. Hawaii game is that somehow Las Vegas is giving Hawaii some credibility as this line is in the single-digits. My early pick is Hawaii to cover but come up short to the Buffaloes.
Louisiana-Lafayette was crushed by Ole Miss and at a larger rate than Boise State did in the opening week. Broncos should be able to cover and should win by three touchdowns.
There is no line on this game but Fresno State better win this game by at least 10 points and take its frustration out on this winless Southern Utah team.
The Big Ten has been pretty awful this year and I will go out on a limb and say that the Spartans not only cover but they will continue the Big Ten's demise by winning outright over Minnesota.
This is a lot of points and UNLV showed some moxie in its attempted comeback over Northern Illinois last week. Houston has been streaky this year as well, so Houston will win but not cover this line.
Three points seems way too low and even without the possibility of Chuckie Keeton not in the lineup. Utah State covers and wins this game.
RIVAL! Seeing New Mexico as a road favorite is shocking. I'll roll with that and see the Lobos winning by a touchdown
Based on just travel alone four points seems a little bit low for Wyoming. Florida Atlantic did put up 50 against Tulsa so the Cowboys defense needs to make a stand. Regardless, Wyoming wins and gets one game closer to the massive amount of Craig Bohl-ing puns that will crash upon us.
Take the Aztecs to cover and don't look back. I am feeling confident enough to say San Diego State can win.
