San Diego State Basketball: ESPN2 will air SDSU's game at Cincinnati

The Aztecs' toughest non-conference road game will be televised nationally.

According to GoAztecs.com, San Diego State basketball's game at Cincinnati will be aired by ESPN2. The game starts at 6 p.m. PT on Wednesday, December 17.

This will be the first-ever meeting between the teams. Both squads, known for their strong defense and singular main-scorer last year (SDSU's was Xavier Thames and Cincinnati's was Sean Kilpatrick--both were seniors), reached the NCAA Tournament last year. And both wound up very close to one another in the final Associated Press poll: SDSU finished 13th and Cincinnati finished 15th.

As of now, SDSU will have a minimum of 10 games broadcasted by an ESPN network--at least three by ESPN2 and one by ESPN. ESPN networks could air more, depending on whether the Aztecs beat BYU in the opening round of the 2014 EA SPORTS Maui Invitational or not.
