The Wolfpack continue to recruit well this summer as Coach Brian Polian and the Nevada Wolfpack, as they picked up their sixth commit in two months in the from of Orange Lutheran Outside LInebacker Riley Brand. Brand is coming off a Junior season where he racked up 48 total tackles for the Lancers, including 23 solo tackles and 2.0 Tackles for Loss.
Extremely excited to announce that I have committed to the University of Nevada Reno! #GoWolfPack!

Nevada first offered Brand in early June as his first scholarship offer for 2015, and took an unofficial visit several weeks ago before committing Tuesday night. Brand talked with Scout.com after his decision:
"I visited there two weeks ago and fell in love with it," Brand said. "It just felt like home to me. I loved the facilities, the coaching staff and the direction the program is going. Coach Hudson was my recruiting coach and we have a good relationship and I have a lot of respect for Coach Polian as well."
"The timing was perfect for me. I could have held off until the season and see who else came in to the picture but I know Nevada is the perfect place for me. It fits me in every way so there was no point in holding off any longer."
