Fresno State has had a rough week with preparing for USC on Saturday night, and the latest news has junior college transfer Corey Ferguson being dismissed for a violation of athletic department policy. Interim co-athletic director Steve Robertello said this would be the only comment about Feguson's dismissal.
Ferguson is a junior college transfer from Fullerton College and was listed as a possible starter alongside sophomore Bryan Harper at one of the cornerback positions on the depth chart.
Fresno State is also going to be without a pair of inside linebackers as T.J. Thomas who has been suspended for a pair of games while Robert Stanley will miss the USC game, both are out for violations of team rules.
The Bulldogs are down one offensive player against USC in wide receiver Dillon Root.
Just missing players is not the only concern for Fresno State, the Bulldogs have co-starters listed at quarterback between Duke transfers Brandon Connette and Brian Burrell.
Fresno State takes on USC in Los Angeles on Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET and can be seen on FOX.
