What began as an apparent weakness now appears to be a big strength for this 2014 San Diego State football team. SDSU's offense lost arguably its best player of the last few years, running back Adam Muema, and also lost three senior wide receivers.
But fast forward a few months, and you'll see a very good offense taking shape. Kaehler has looked as accurate and crisp as he was at the end of last season--perhaps even more. Sophomore running back Donnel Pumphrey has had an incredible offseason and was even one of just nine underclassmen named to the preseason Doak Walker Award watch list. And the wide receiving corps appears to be very deep, with senior Ezell Ruffin and redshirt-sophomore Eric Judge leading big-time offseason performers like junior Larry Clark and junior Jemond Hazely.
Here's who our SDSU staff thinks will be the best of the best on the Aztecs' offense this year.
