This is the kind of thing that really gets my goat.  THE AZTECS WERE NOT EVEN THE FIRST SCHOOL TO DO IT.  That goes to Navy.  It really cultivated with Utah State, and FINALLY when the Aztecs got a hold of it, that's when it really took off nationally.  This is not a Texas A&M "12th Man™" thing.  This is a chant, a song that is not credited to any one person: do you understand how many schools and clubs on all levels do this?  If there should be any trademark tags applied, it should belong to Navy (assuming they really did start it first).
